Jesse Hockett, who raised brows just one month ago with a stunning win at Lakeside Speedway during the Non-Wing World Challenge, has partnered with Kokomo, Indiana's Chuck Pearce to race the Mopar Million at Eldora Speedway on September 19-20. Hockett will pilot a Stealth Chassis with a Gaerte Engine sponsored by Mother's Waxes and Polishes and Chalk Stix.

"I just can't wait to feel the atmosphere that the Mopar Million will create with the fans, the teams, the manufacturers. Everyone will want a piece of the glory and it should be awesome. I am very excited to run Eldora for the first time. I love going fast and this is one of the fastest dirt tracks in America," said the Warsaw, Missouri native.

Hockett, who will team with Brandon Petty for the Million, has just four previous non-wing starts but has made the adjustment smoothly. "We seem to have adapted to it quickly. I hope to carry the momentum from Lakeside into Eldora. When I heard about the race at PRI last year, they did not know then whether it was wing or non wing, but I didn't care," Hockett said. "I told my crew chief Daniel McMillan that we were going to be there regardless. Now, thanks to Pearce Racing, we will be."
