Robbie Ray of Davenport, Iowa scored his third victory of the 2003 USAC Indiana Ford Focus Midget Car Series Saturday night at the Lawrenceburg Speedway. The win extended his point lead over Trenton Darland to 60 points going into this Saturday night's race at Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway. A 20-lap feature is on tap.

Ray led the final 13 laps at Lawrenceburg in his Ray Racing Beast, beating Darland, Ryan Litt, Derek Crasi and Brad Paris. Ryan Hamilton led the first four laps of the feature but flipped on lap five. He escaped injury. Darland then led the next three laps before yielding to Ray.

Hamilton was the winner when the Indiana Ford Focus Midget Car Series made its initial appearance at Plymouth Speedway June 14. Tate Martz and Brice Kenton enter this Saturday night's race tied for third in the standings, while Hamilton is eighth.
