"WEDNESDAY NIGHT THUNDER" BACK IN NEW CASTLE; THREE DRIVERS WIN AT ANDERSON

INDIANAPOLIS -- "Wednesday Night Thunder" returns to Mt. Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Ind. this week following different locations across the Hoosier State the last two weeks.

Scott Thoman (Regional Midgets), Zach Schiff (Indiana Ford Focus) and Chris Windom (Kenyon Midgets) are the current point leaders in their respective divisions.

Schiff and Windom extended their point leads last Wednesday after claiming "Wednesday Night Thunder" races at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway. Schiff led all 25 laps on the quarter-mile track, beating Tate Martz, Adam Kramer, James Robertson and Andy Baber II.

Windom is going for five straight Kenyon victories, which will extend his all-time series record, after leading all 25 laps of the Kenyon feature. Former series champion Dakoda Armstrong was second, ahead of Kenny Biro, Sammy Imel and Kyle Hamilton.

Bradley Galedrige withstood a spirited charge from Bryan Clauson in the Regional Midget Car Series race, leading all 25 laps for his first victory in the weekly series. Clauson finished second, while Brian Olson, Richey Jacobs and Stephanie Mockler rounded out the Top 5. Thoman -- whose Regional lead sits at 15 over Clauson -- finished sixth.
