Earl's sprint points tighten up
Valvoline "Indiana Sprint Week" served to tighten the 2003 Earl's Plumbing Fast Qualifier Championship, with three National drivers separated by only seven points after the four races this past week.
Similarly, the Earl's Western Sprint standings are tight as well after races in Idaho Friday and Saturday. Three drivers in that standing are separated by only six points!
J.J. Yeley continues to lead all three National and the Western Midget Earl's rankings, while Rick Hendrix is atop the Western Sprint points going into events this week.
Earl's points will be up for grabs Tuesday at Twin Falls, Idaho and Thursday at Salt Lake City, Utah, in addition to the four Valvoline "Indiana Sprint Week" races at Kokomo, Lawrenceburg, Bloomington and Terre Haute Wednesday through Saturday.
Earl's fast qualifiers this past week included Boston Reid, Tracy Hines, J.J. Yeley and Damion Gardner in Indiana and Michael Lewis and Jeff Gardner in Idaho.
