Paul Fix caps off season at VIR with a few trophies.

Dansville, VA (October 30, 2002) -- Paul Fix (#77 Competition Life Insurance/Hotel Monaco/Royal Purple Synthetic Oil Jaguar XKR), earned the Westward Tools Tough Team Award for advancing the most combined places over the course of the season.  This year-end trophy was well earned by their persistent team.

The final race capped off the season with Paul Fix and the #77 Competition Life Insurance Jaguar XKR battled in season finale at VIR. It was a very fast track that gave many lead changes, when the checker flag fell Paul finished 12th.  This put Paul in 11th place for the Championship stands.  This is a dramatic improvement over last years points standings and was noted at the banquet by fellow drivers and teams. The Trans-Am Series for the BF Goodrich Tires Cup will release its 2003 schedule soon.

Paul's 2002 year end standings are as follows:  11th in Championship points; 5- top-ten finishes, 3-MSD Hard Charger awards and the Westward Tools Tough Team Award.  Paul was also nominated for the Most Improved Driver of 2002.

"We did very well this weekend, but not enough to be where we want to be in the points.  We will be back next year in Trans-Am with enhancements," said Fix.
