NOTE 1 -- TROIS-RIVIERES STATS...Drissi has only two previous starts here...In 2002, he qualified ninth and finished third, his best finish of his 2002 season.

NOTE 2 -- BACKGROUND STATS...Ranks 10th in the points standings...In 2003, has two top-ten finishes at Lime Rock and Cleveland...Voted "Most Improved Driver" for 2000...Scored his first and only Trans-Am win at Long Beach in 2000...Won the "Rookie of the Year" title in 1999.

On his practice incident ..."I tagged the wall in the previous practice session. I had good times early and would have had it pretty easy to be in the top-three in qualifying today. I was trying to go for a faster lap in the last session, and I just didn't anticipate coming up on a flyer (fast lap) that the car didn't push like it usually does. I just grabbed the wall a little bit with my tire turning in the last corner before the front straight. The guys didn't want to put me back out there; they saw a little weld where the suspension hooks up to the frame. So we'll attend to that and see how the car is working in the last practice session. We'll start in the back of the pack, be patient, and put this on the podium tomorrow.
