TROIS-RIVIÈRES, Quebec -- Scott Pruett recorded his fastest time of the weekend during Saturday morning Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Tires Cup warm-up for the Le Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières. Pruett, driver of the No. 7 Jaguar R Performance XKR, set a 1:03.583-minute lap at 86.100 miles per hour on the 1.52-mile temporary circuit late in the session, being run during cool, overcast conditions.
Johnny Miller was second fastest in the No. 64 Eaton Cutler-Hammer Jaguar XKR with a 1:04.177-minute lap, ahead of Michael Lewis (No. 12 Westward Tools/The Crank Jaguar XKR), who turned a 1:04.655-minute lap. Randy Ruhlman (No. 49 Preformed Line Products Canada/COYOTE Closures Chevrolet Corvette), and French Canadian driver Claude Bourbonnais (No. 3 Rocketsports Jaguar XKR) completed the top five.
