Paul Fix Tops GT-1 For Molson Indy -Toronto Qualifying

Toronto, Canada (July 8, 2005) - Paul Fix in the Fix Motorsports #77 STOP FLEX/ Computer Systems Centre Mustang Cobra qualified first in GT1 for the Molson Indy in Toronto, Canada. The top spot in the GT1 class line-up is Fix's second consecutive GT1 pole, having achieved both a pole position and class win at the Grand Prix of Cleveland just two weeks ago.

Fix's qualifying effort came after the team overcame a mechanical issue during the morning practice session. "We had a bad clutch during the morning session, that made it difficult to set quick laps," Fix said.

With a rewarding qualifying effort, Fix feels comfortable that come race time, he will be right in the thick of things. "I am shooting for the GT1 win. I am looking to duplicate our success at Cleveland," commented Fix.

"Here at Toronto you have to be patient. Not only is GT1 our goal, but an overall finishing position is important as well," offered Fix.

Paul Fix, from just down the road in Buffalo, N.Y., will attempt to take the GT1 Class points lead this weekend after winning the class in Cleveland and 4th overall, driving the No. 77 StopFlex / Computer Systems Centre Ford Mustang.
