Another top-10 finish for Paul Fix at Road Atlanta.

Atlanta, GA (October 11, 2002) Paul Fix and the #77 Hotel Monaco Jaguar XKR battle in the Atlanta sun at Road Atlanta, GA for the Trans-Am 100. Paul ran as high as 7th place today, it was a very tight battle and when the checker flag dropped Paul finished 10th.

Paul has now earned 5- top-ten finishes, 3-MSD Hard Charger awards and leading the Westward Tools Tough Team points; he currently stands 11th in championship points after this weekend. This weekend Paul was nominated for the Most Improved Driver of 2002, the award will be presented at the SCCA Trans Am year end banquet on October 28th in Greensboro, NC.

"We did very well this weekend, but we have yet to put it all together the way we need to battle our way to the top", said Paul after the race. "VIR will be our last opportunity to grab those extra championship points to finish solidly in the top 10."
