Laguna Seca, CA -- Marybeth Harrison, driver for Glacier Bear Racing, passed twelve Trans-Am competitors to finish 13th during Sunday's race at Laguna Seca. "You'd have thought we won the race," Harrison stated after shouts of joy resonated throughout the team radios after the checkered dropped. "We've done really well in our past three races especially for a brand new team but our results just haven't reflected what we're capable of so we were all pretty excited to get a top 15 finish."

Team owner Jerry Moskel reflected Harrison's thoughts: "We believe we have the makings for a top ten team and this finish helps prove that we're on our way to reaching that goal soon."

In fact, the team may have had a top ten finish in this race save for a shortened qualifying session. Harrison was still doing a warm up lap when another car in the field went off the track and had to be towed out. The field only got one and a half laps of green flag qualifying after that and then the session was over. The resultant 25th grid position meant that Harrison had to make her way up through the field.

The team's efforts now turn to their next scheduled race in San Diego California on November 4th.
