Long Beach, Calif. April 13, 2002 "We've improved every time out," said Don Sak. "I'm delighted with the progress we are making. We are here with two new cars, a new crew and we are making moves that are putting us closer to the front. This is fun," he added.

Sak, showing improvement over his practice times will start Sunday's Johnson Controls 100 in 13th position.

"I've got a good racecar," reported Stu Hayner. "I had a slight overheating issue in practice, but it appears we located the problem and we're good. I had put together some quick 22s out there.... and the car responded well. I felt that I could go out and run 22s all afternoon. I have a couple of racey guys in front of me that I'll have to work through, but other than that, I can go. It's a good racecar."

Hayner will start in the inside of row four in 7th.

In association with Trenton Forging, Revolution Motorsports will campaign two 2002 Chevrolet Corvettes in Sunday's Johnson Controls 100 at the Toyota Grand Prix at Long Beach and for the duration of the 2002 Trans-Am Series for the BF Goodrich Tires Cup.
