Fix Motorsports Wins Westward Tools "Tough Tools / Tough Times Award" for Mosport Park Race
Fix Motorsports and the #77 Jaguar XKR driven by Paul Fix won the Westward Tools "Tough Tools / Tough Times Award" at Mosport Park for overcoming hard luck and increasing their finishing position by seven places.
Paul Fix also tied with Randy Ruhlman for the MSD Hard Charger Award, this award is given to the driver based on performance. The "Hard Charger" award is presented to the driver who improves the most positions from his original qualifying position to race finish position.
Westward Tools sponsors the "Tough Tools/Tough Times Award," which is awarded to the team that is deemed to have faced hard luck during a given Trans-Am event. Fans nominate a driver for the "Tough Tools/Tough Times Award" for each event.
"The team faced many challenges and we were able to conquer them in a short period of time," said team operations manager Bob Brodnicki.
