Paul Fix Qualifies For 4th Consecutive GT-1 Pole

Denver, CO - Paul Fix returned to the streets of the Denver Grand Prix for the Cytomax Sport Drink 100. Fix again showed his prowess by achieving his 4th consecutive GT1 pole. Fix will start inside the top 10 overall, placing 8th on the grid in his #77 Stopflex/9 News-NBC /Hotel Monaco/ Drive! Mustang.

"I'm satisfied with where we are starting", commented Fix. The car is handling really well. The key here as with any street course, will be patience."

Fix returns to Denver as the defending GT-1 class winner. His experience around this curcuit will help improve his chances for another top finish overall and in class. "Having won here last year and feeling comfortable with the track, I know we will move up through the field and earn points toward our GT-1 championship.

9 News, Denver's NBC station will cover Fix Motorsports and the race all weekend long.

The Cytomax Sport Drink 100, Grand Prix of Denver is August 12 - 13, 2005 and race coverage will air August 20th at 01:00 PM on SPEED.
