High Tech Performance Trailers To Award Owners Points Bonus At Cleveland
Painesville, Oh - High Tech Performance Trailers will present a $10,000 bonus check to the driver leading the Owners' Points at the conclusion of the Cleveland Race (Round 5) of the Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Tires Cup.

Trans-Am on the Tarmac presented by Microchip is part of the Marconi Grand Prix of Cleveland presented by US Bank.
The Trans-Am Saturday feature marks the fourth consecutive season that High Tech Performance Trailers has been affiliated with the Series as the Official Trailer. 2002 will mark the third season that High Tech sponsors the High Tech Performance Trailers Owners' Championship and the third year that it has presented a cash prize at the Cleveland event. In addition, High Tech awards $50,000 in product certificates at the series' year-end championship banquet.
To be eligible for the $10,000 cash prize, drivers must run the High Tech Performance Trailers decal on their car and display the High Tech patch on their driver and crew uniforms. Currently Points leader Boris Said, ACS Express Racing Team (#33 Applied Computer Solutions/Sun Microsystems Panoz Esperante) and Butch Leitzinger, Tom Gloy Racing (#88 Tommy Bahama Chevrolet Corvette) have the best shot at garnering the prize.
Round five of Trans-Am from Cleveland is scheduled to air on CBS, Saturday, July 13, with the green flag start at 4:40 pm on taped coverage, and the balance of the coverage up to the checkered flag shown live in the 5:00-6:00 PM ET time slot.
