Indian driver Aditya Patel will make his Audi Sport TT Cup debut this weekend at Nurburgring in the fifth round of the championship.
Patel currently competes in the Audi R8 LMS Cup in Asia where he sits fourth in the championship.
Audi Sport announced that the Indian will drive in the penultimate round of the 2015 championship as a guest driver. Patel confirmed that he will only drive at the Nurburgring round.
"Nurburgring is one of my favorite tracks, I am really looking forward to it," Patel told Motorsport.com after the announcement.
"It came as a nice surprise from Audi and I am looking forward to making the most of it," the Indian added.
TT Cup is a support race for German's touring car championship DTM. Polish driver Jan Kisiel leads the championship currently.
The racing version of the Audi TT weighs 1,125 kilograms and delivers 228 kW (310 hp). The Audi TT car also has a push-to-pass function and a two-liter TFSI engine.
