TCR Australia has unveiled its TV commentary team for the 2019 season.

The live coverage will be co-hosted by experienced broadcasters Greg Rust and Aaron Noonan, both of whom are best known for their work in Supercars.

They will be joined by pitlane reporters Emma Notarfrancesco and Cameron van den Dungen.

The coverage will be broadcast live on free-to-air TV station SBS, with a set weekend schedule that will see Saturday's race shown between 2pm and 3pm, before the two Sunday races are squeezed into a 1pm-3pm slot.

“The countdown to the debut of TCR Australia is well and truly on. After a successful test day on Monday at Winton, we are absolutely excited about what is to come,” said Matt Braid, director of category promoter ARG.

“There’s no doubt we have a great group of teams, drivers and cars all eager to get on track and show what they can do.

“Having ‘Rusty’ and ‘Noonz’ on board in 2019 as the faces of our broadcast on SBS and the livestream is an exciting development for the category and we know that these two experienced broadcasters will do an excellent job calling all the action, both on the track and in the pits.”

The inaugural TCR Australia season kicks off at Sydney Motorsport Park next Friday.
