The test, which is set to feature 23 drivers, will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.
GP2 race winner Stanaway, who had just ran with Audi in the WEC rookie test in Bahrain, will line up with Mugen at Suzuka alongside 2013 champion Naoki Yamamoto.
And while Jaafar and Coletti are both not on the official entry list, the Malaysian has confirmed he will be running alongside McLaren protege Stoffel Vandoorne at Docomo Team Dandelion, who scored podiums in 2015 with Tomoki Nojiri and Narain Karthikeyan.
Nojiri will also be present at the test and it is likely that Coletti will run with Docomo as well, although the Monegasque, who completed an IndyCar rookie campaign with KV in 2015, did not officially confirm the team he will be testing with.
Of the other notable additions, Japanese F3 champion Nick Cassidy will test in the #4 Kondo Racing entry, which was piloted by former FR3.5 racer Will Buller in 2015.
Finally, Loic Duval, who sat out 2015 after racing in the series for eight seasons straight, will be back at the wheel of a Team LeMans entry.
