Test and Tune session set to open season at Utica-Rome Speedway.

VERNON- Utica-Rome Speedway will open the gates to start off the 2003 race season with a special "Test and Tune" session on Monday, April 21st. Pit gates will open at 5pm, with practice beginning at 6pm and end at 9pm. Pit admission will be set for $10 for this practice session and grandstand admission will be free.

With winter finally losing it's tight grip on the Central New York region, this evening help driver and crews to shake off the winter rust and fans to see their favorite drivers at speed before the race season officially begins at Utica-Rome Speedway. The practice session is also a perfect opportunity for drivers to apply for their licenses or receive their passes while fans can reserve their seats.

Just six days after the practice session, the Utica-Rome Speedway will begin its 42nd season of racing action. Gates-Cole Insurance will present 40 laps for the DIRT 358-Modified, and regular shows for the DIRT Sportsman, DIRT Pro Stocks, and Pure Stocks on Sunday, April 27th. Gates open at 4pm with racing beginning at 6pm.
