VERNON, NY - The F.X. Caprara Car Companies, with dealerships in Watertown, Pulaski, Alex Bay, and Carthage, will supply the New Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon with a 2001 Dodge pace truck for the 2001-racing season.

"We are proud to have F.X. Caprara supply us with a pace truck," said Utica-Rome track promoter Eric Kingsley. "F.X. Caprara owner Charlie Caprara has been a big supporter of DIRT Motorsports racing in Central New York over the years, and we are glad to have him on board here at Utica-Rome."

Utica-Rome begins its 40th anniversary-racing season on Sunday May 6, with a special 40-lap feature event for the headline DIRT 358 Modified division. Opening night will serve as a tune-up for many top race teams for the Mother's Day May 13 100-lap kickoff of the Sunoco Race Fuels 358-Modified Super DIRT Series at Utica-Rome. Also scheduled is a regular show for the DIRT Sportsman, DIRT Pro Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Slingshots.
