* This track has never had a repeat winner in four previously held USAR Hooters ProCup Series racecs at the track. Donnie Hill won a rain-shortened event in July of 2001 and Brian Ross and Clay Rogers each scored a win here last year. Hal Goodson won the only USAR event run at the track in 2003.
* Jeff Agnew and Shane Huffman will enter Saturday's event as top seeds. Both drivers will have a 40-point advantage over the rest of the Championship qualifiers.
* Fifty-Seven drivers qualified to enter the first event of the Championship Series event at Winchester.
* Kertus Davis and Jason Sarvis are both coming into the Championship Series as the most recent winners in the Hooters ProCup Series. Davis won the Northern Division regular season finale at Motordrome Speedway, while Sarvis won the Southern Division regular season finale at Hickory Motor Speedway.
