USAR: USAR announces staff expansion

FAYETTEVILLE, GA - United Speed Alliance Racing, the sanctioning body for the Hooters Pro Cup Series has announced the addition of two new staff members. Robert Rogers, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has been hired as Operations Coordinator.

FAYETTEVILLE, GA - United Speed Alliance Racing, the sanctioning body for the Hooters Pro Cup Series has announced the addition of two new staff members.

Robert Rogers, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has been hired as Operations Coordinator. Rogers, 34, will be responsible for coordinating and documentation of all functions associated with USAR events. Rogers will assist in track operations, promotion of all events and promoter relations with all facilities listed on the 2000 USAR schedule. Rogers previously served as General Manager of the Myrtle Beach Grand Prix. Rogers has a six year-old daughter, Kaela, and he will reside in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Tim Southers, from Hickory, North Carolina, has been hired as Media/Public Relations Director. Southers, 31, will be responsible for the release of all information associated with the USAR Pro Cup Series including driver, team, and sponsor involvement. Southers, formerly General Manager of Hickory Motor Speedway, most recently served as Media Coordinator for the Goody’s Dash Series NASCAR Touring Division. Southers is singl eand resides in Fayetteville, Georgia.
