ProCup Team to Field Late Model Stock Car

Boyd Sult Racing (BSR) recently announced that it will field a Billy Hess chassis, Kawalsky-powered Late Model Stock Car in as many as five extra-distance big-money events in 2005.

Bobby Gill will debut the car at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Va., on March 19, and made no bones about the fact that he's entering the race with every intention of taking home the victory.

"That's the reason we go to race," the short-track legend and all-time winner in the USAR Hooters ProCup Series said. "I'm really looking forward to it. I plan to make the best of having good equipment under me."

BSR fields a full-time USAR Hooters ProCup effort in the North Division for Johnny Rumley. According to BSR co-owner Mark Huff, it shouldn't be a surprise if he and Boyd Sult put Rumley in the Late Model Stock Car at some point during the season.

"We're planning on running four or five big Late Model races between now and Thanksgiving," Huff said. "Bobby may run the majority of the time, but when Bobby can't do it we'll probably run Johnny Rumley. Boyd and I both think it's a big relief as car owners to know that we've got the best drivers on the track in our car."
