Cameron Dodson and May's Motorsports Team Carry Momentum to Motor Mile Speedway
Radford, VA - Cameron Dodson and the No.14N May's Motorsports Elite Collision Center DuPont Performance Coatings Joie of Seating Chevrolet Monte Carlo are carrying momentum in to the Kroger 250 Presented by Dominic's of New York. The USAR Rookie of the Year contender is ready to capitalize on the team's positive direction.
Coming off a strong run early in the last United Speed Alliance Racing (USAR) Hooters Pro Cup Northern Division event before the power steering failed in the car, Dodson is excited to keep the effort going at Motor Mile Speedway.
"We had a really good run going at Lake Erie," said Dodson. "That effort really pumped up everyone on our team because we know we can run better than our finishes are showing. I am excited for this Saturday's race at Radford.
"The communication between Lee (McCallister, crew chief) and I continues to improve every week. We are on the same wave length and I continue to learn from him all the time."
The Virginia event is race number nine of the 12-race USAR Northern Division 2006 season and scheduled to run 250 laps/104miles. Practice will begin Friday at 11:30 a.m. EDT for two hours.
