Charlotte, NC: August 28, 2002 - MJ Motorsports, who fields NASCAR Late Model Super Trucks for "Aazie" Zimbelmann at Hickory (NC) Motor Speedway, will take their 19-year-old driver to the USAR Hooters ProCup Series in 2003.

Team Jesel, the NASCAR Busch Series team with drivers Casey Mears and Hank Parker, Jr. will prepare the Dodge Intrepids and engines for MJ Motorsports, who will also share the shop resources in their 35,000 sq.ft. Concord, NC facility.

"This is a great opportunity for us to bring our team to the next level," said Team Owner Mike Calinoff, who also serves as the Spotter for Matt Kenseth and Casey Mears, "An alliance with Wayne (Jesel), his staff and Dodge is going to be a key ingredient for our success. We are exploring several exciting marketing and competition avenues for the future."
