MB3 MOTORSPORTS RACES WITH TEAM HERBALIFE FOR THE 2005 SEASON
"Team Anxious For Debut"
Ocala, Florida (February 24, 2004) - MB3 Motorsports and driver Michael Faulk are proud to announce that they will be racing with Team Herbalife for the 2005 race season. MB3 and Faulk will compete in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series full-time and will participate in a handful of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events. Faulk will pilot the #53 Herbalife Pontiac in the Southern Division of the USAR.
"It is such a great honor to join up with Team Herbalife," said Faulk. "This is a tremendous opportunity that Michael Burton (owner) and the entire MB3 Motorsports team have given me. The addition of Team Herbalife just adds more quality to this impressive program that has been put together. I am just ready to get on the track and down to the business of racing. We have put forth a tremendous amount of work and the pre-season testing we have completed has given us some high hopes for the season. I think we will be a contender out there each week and make a run for the championship."
The #53 Herbalife Pontiac will make its season debut this Saturday night at the USA International Speedway in the running of the Naturally Fresh 250.
"We are using this season in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series as a learning tool for this MB3 team and as a stepping stone to the next level," added Faulk. "This organization has a great ownership group headed up by Michael and Michelle Burton and they have given the organization everything it needs to be competitive. This combination of MB3 and Team Herbalife will be a powerful combination that will be successful at any level they compete in."
"I am excited about this growth of the race organization," stated team owner Michael Burton. "I have always been a race fan and actually started out doing some racing myself. The development of this race program really charges me up and I think we are going to accomplish some great things here."
The running of the Naturally Fresh 250 will see the green flag fly at 8:00 p.m. EST on Saturday night at the USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida. The race will be aired on SPEED Channel on a tape delay basis on Saturday March 12th at 10:00 p.m. EST.
