Radford, Virginia; John Kinder, driver of the MultiMedia Graphics & Production Monte Carlo had another top ten finish at the tough New River Valley Speedway in Radford, Virginia. This marks Kinder's fourth top 10 finish in the last five races!
"We had a tough start at the beginning of the season, then we started to try some new set ups to compensate for being down on horsepower and the first half of the season was really tough, but, the team regrouped and we went back to the basics and it is really helping to turn our program around. I had about a top ten car this weekend, and was pleased to finish 8th. The car was a little tight all night, but the crew did an incredible job. The crew clicked off a 15 second pit stop which gave me the track position I needed to stay in the top ten. These guys are awesome!" Kinder said after his 8th place finish.
The young driver who hails from Santa Ana, California in the last three races has improved his performance substantially averaging 11th on the starting grid and consistently finishing in the top ten. In his last five races, Kinder posted 11th, 20th, 10th, 5th and 8th place finishes which has been a marked improvement over the first half of the season. Kinder now stands in 12th place in the point standings.
"The team just gets better and better. This is a very tough series and it takes time to sort everything out. I think everyone associated with the team is doing a great job and I am still optimistic John and the crew will visit Victory Lane yet this season maybe even more than once" said Wellington Hall, CFO of PowerBase Motorsports, Inc.
