Coerbett brings home another top five finish: "The team did everything that they needed to do and more"

Eric Corbett qualified the Carrier and Larry & Sons Ford Taurus in 7th position in the Kroger 250 presented by Lucas Oil at the Indianapolis Raceway Park this past Saturday.

For never seeing the IRP track until the day before the race, Corbett was happy with the fourth place finish. "We were set up too tight during practice and we had to fight that all evening", said Corbett. Corbett took it easy for the first 20 laps until he was able to find the right groove and then he charged the #75 Carrier and Larry & Sons Ford Taurus towards the front of the pack.

"We had an excellent pit stop which helped us to gain a position. The team did everything that they needed to do and more", said Corbett.

Corbett has run in the top 5 in every race he has attended this year. Unfortunately without a primary sponsor, Corbett has not been able to make every race. "It's difficult for me to stay at home while I know they are racing." said Corbett. Corbett currently sits in the 23rd points position in the Northern Division with only running four of the seven races!

Speed Channel will air the IRP race June 27th at 9 PM, June 28th at 1 AM, and June 28th at 12 PM. All times are EST.

Corbett plans on racing July 20th at New River Valley Speedway in Radford, VA.
