Myrtle Beach, SC--Shane Huffman received Honorable Mention on the 2003 Auto Racing All-America Team chosen by members of the motorsports press.

Huffman was nominated in the new Touring Series category for several stock car-based series. Former Hooters ProCup Rookie of the Year, Brian Vickers, and Frank Kimmel, a five-time ARCA champion, won the First Team honor in the inaugural Touring Series division.

Scott Lynch from Winston West and Andy Santerre from Busch North took Second Team honors in the category, while Huffman and ASA's Kevin Cywinski received Honorable Mention in the Touring Series division for receiving at least 5% of the overall vote.

Huffman's nomination and Honorable Mention honor were the first for any Hooters ProCup Series driver.

The 2003 Hooters ProCup Series champion finished the season with eight poles, eight wins and over $400,000 in winnings for the season.
