Concord Motorsport Park Ready for Hooters ProCup Series
Clay Rogers Looks to Defend Win from Last Season

LONGS, SC -- One of the most favorite tracks on the circuit for USAR Hooters ProCup Series fans is Concord Motorsport Park. The ultra fast and uniquely-shaped track has hosted the Series since 1998 and will once again host the popular touring series on Saturday, April 24th with the running of the BFGoodrich Tires presented by Stewart Warner Performance at 7:30 p.m.

One driver really looking forward to returning to the track is Clay Rogers. Rogers, who has two previous Hooters ProCup Series wins at his home track, has already began the season on a hot streak as he has collected a win at USA International Speedway and a second-place finish at New Smyrna in the first two races. The track will also mark the first time the BFGoodrich Traction T/A radial tire will be used at the speedway for the Series.

Last season Rogers dominated the race leading 219 laps and holding off a hard-charging Mardy Lindley and Jason Sarvis in collecting the win after a green-white-checker finish.

"I always enjoy racing at Concord Motorsport Park," said Rogers. "It is a fast track and we always seem to have good luck there. Hopefully we can have some more luck when we get there. We already have one win this year and hopefully we will have many more before the season is done. It would be nice to get another win at home."

The BFGoodrich Tires 250 presented by Stewart Warner Performance will be the fourth race of the season for the Southern Division competitors and by the time the drivers get to CMS and third first third of the regular season for the Southern Division competitors will be completed which should give an idea which teams will be challenging for the $25,000 first-place prize for winning the Southern Division regular season title. It will also mark the first of two consecutive Hooters ProCup Series races to be held in North Carolina.

The Allison Legacy Series will also be competing in the event as part of their 2004 schedule. The popular cars will run a 50-lap feature immediately after Hooters ProCup Series qualifying and just before an autograph session for the fans to meet their favorite Hooters ProCup Series driver.
