Frank Finds Home at Bullet Racing

Cleveland, OH - The search is over! It sounds like the title of a song, but in this case, Bullet Racing is very pleased to announce that a great partnership with a new driver has begun. Over the weekend, AJ Frank accepted the role as the new pilot of the No. 11 Chevrolet team based in Cleveland, Ohio. AJ and the team will be running the full 2006 USAR Pro Cup Northern Division Series.

AJ brings quite an impressive racing resume with him. His Pro Cup highlights include a pole, five top-5's, nine top-10's and a couple of second-place finishes. He was also the only other driver in the Northern Division in 2005 to lead the points besides Benny Gordon; he also has numerous laps led to his credit.

AJ is blessed to have the support of his wife and family, and that will make his days away from home a lot easier.

AJ grew up around racing his entire life. His grandfather was racing director for Harley-Davidson for 27 years, his Dad raced bikes first, and then his Dad and Mom started a road racing sanctioning body and ran 60 road races a year for 24 or so years before his Dad, Peter, went on to racing cars. To say that racing is in his blood might be an understatement.

As the week progresses, we'll have more about AJ and Bullet's preparation for the season, as well as a sponsor announcement toward the end of the week.

As we had published before, Bullet was very fortunate to have so many highly qualified drivers express interest in our program, and we appreciate the time each of them took to share with us. It was a very difficult decision to make, but we are confident the right one has been made.
