ACE Speedway ready to host ProCup drivers.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - As Easter weekend quickly approaches the Tucson 250 presented by Dave's Discount Furniture at Ace Speedway promises to be another exciting night of action at the beautiful track located near Greensboro, NC.

Last year Bobby Gill collected his second career win at the track holding off a hard-charging Jason Sarvis. Gill previously won the first- ever USAR Hooters ProCup Series race held at the track in the spring of 2000.

"Ace is a fun place to race," said Gill. "We have run well there and hopefully we can go back and get another win. The track is one of the nicest short tracks we visit in the Southern Division."

Another driver who looks forward to returning to Ace Speedway is Stacy Puryear. Puryear, who joins Gill as the only active Hooters ProCup Series drivers to have finished in the top-10 in all three ProCup races held at the track, has finishes of 9th in 2000, 3rd in 2001 and a solid 10th-place showing last season.

Puryear as begun the 2003 season on a hot streak as he entered this season as an owner-driver of his South Boston, VA-based team. Puryear was one of four drivers to begin the season with consecutive top-five finishes in the first two races and looks forward to returning to Ace Speedway.

The track will be the fourth race of the 13-race regular season schedule for the Southern Division drivers. Start time for the race will be at 8 pm.
