8th Annual International Truck Gold Cup 100 to feature ASA Late Model Series in 2005.

In a surprise announcement today Baer Field Speedway Owner Tom Isch announced that the ASA Late Model Series would headline the 8th International Truck Gold Cup 100 on August 5, 2005.

"Both Tom (Isch) and I gave a lot of thought to adding this event, especially because we already had two events scheduled at Baer Field in 2005. However this is just too big of an event to pass up. To be partnered with International Truck for what is arguably the biggest show of the year at Baer Field is great for the series," commented Series President Ron Varney.

"We at International Truck are very excited to be associated with the ASA Late Model Series this year for the 8th Annual International Truck Gold Cup 100 at Baer Field Speedway. This event has been very successful in all past years and we believe it will be even more successful in 2005 with the ASA Late Model Series," stated Steve Dager of International Truck and Engine Corporation.

The evening will be highlighted by the Parade of Trucks and Ft. Wayne's, biggest fireworks show. For more information or tickets for this event please contact the Baer Field Speedway office at 1-260-478-RACE.
