TOLEDO, OH (7/23) Race ...

TOLEDO, OH (7/23) Race #12 in the Iceman Super Car Series was held here Sunday night and it was series namesake Tim Ice capturing his second victory of the season.

Brooklyn, MI driver Chuck Roumell led the race early as defending champion Dennis Berry worked his way through the field. At lap 40 the two came together sending Roumell into the infield and both to the rear of the field. It was then Allegan, MI native Tim Curry's turn at the top but mechanical woes forced him to make a pit stop and handing the lead to Dave Kuhlman. Kuhlman appeared to have the victory in hand but following a late race caution, Kuhlman lost air pressure in his left front tire and began to fade giving the lead and eventually the win to Ice.

Following Ice at the finish were Fred Campbell, Berry, Kuhlman held on for fourth and Scott Baker rouded out the top five.

Next Saturday night (7/29) the series travels to the Kalamazoo (MI) Speedway for the 13th race in the series.
