Race #11 was held Sunday night at the Toledo Speedway. In the 100 lap event it was Claredon, OH driver Matt Hutter capturing his first ever series victory. Akron, OH veteran Scott Baker led virtually the entire distance but with 7 laps to go Hutter, who had worked his way onto Baker's bumper took advantage of lapped traffic to grab the top spot. The rest of the way Baker tried every trick in the book to work his way around Hutter but Hutter managed to hold on for a less than half car victory. Following Hutter and Baker at the finish were Chuck Roumell, series point leader and defending champion Dennis Berry, and Kenny Phillips.
Next week (7/23) the series returns to the high banks at the Toledo Speedway. Racing begins at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
