FORT WORTH-DALLAS (August 23, 2001) - The United Dirt Track Racing Association Pro DirtCar Series attracts the leading dirt late model stock car drivers from around the country. Fans attending the Wolf Brand Chili Challenge at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track Thursday night, September 13 can now save $5.00 off the grandstand admission to see the country's best drivers compete.

The Wolf Brand Chili Challenge will play a vital role in determining the UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series champion. Currently Steve Francis holds a slight lead over Rick Eckert and four-time and defending series champion Scott Bloomquist in the fight for the title.

A complete racing program including time trials, Borla Performance heat races, consolations and a 50-lap feature highlight the evening on the four-tenths mile clay oval. The Wolf Brand Chili Challenge winner will collect $15,000.

The grandstand will open at 5:00 p.m. on September 13 with qualifications at 6:30 p.m. followed by the races. Tickets are on sale daily at the speedway ticket office, by calling (817) 215-8500, online at www.texasmotorspeedway.com and at Ticketmaster locations.
