Steve Francis takes 2nd in home state of Kentucky as Dirt Late Model racing action gets Georgia Xtreme this weekend.

(Ashland, KY) Steve Francis produced his 8th top-five finish of the season this past weekend at Florence Speedway during the Northern All-Stars series Spring 50. Francis has experienced numerous successes throughout his racing tenure on the half-mile oval at near Cincinnati, Ohio. Francis will keep his MOPAR Performance, Valvoline backed Dodge Intrepid at full speed this weekend when the national touring Xtreme Dirt Car Series competition roars back into action at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA.

Through the first five events of the Xtreme Dirt Car Series season, Francis is just 63 points outside of first place in his aim to become the first dirt late model driver in history to win national titles on both the Xtreme and Renegade Dirt Car Series. Francis has kept his speedy Dodge at the front of the racing pack and in contention for another National Championship Title including strong runs on globally televised events on SPEED Channel.
