HICKORY, N.C. - It was back to business as usual for the Galaxy Foods/Johnsonville Racing Team Saturday night, as driver Shane Huffman sat on the pole, led every lap and won going away to dominate the ARA Kool Seal Challenge Series event held at the Hickory Motor Speedway. The win marks Huffman's first trip to victory lane in the year 2000 as part of a limited Late Model schedule the team is running while concentrating their efforts on the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series.

"The car was awesome," said Shane, "but it wasn't as easy as it looked. We broke the right front hub in practice and then the brake caliper started leaking, but nobody panicked and the guys put a car under me that could win tonight."

"This is what we need to get our confidence back and build our spirits up heading into Lakeland this weekend. We haven't been that bad over on the Hooters series, but we have been off just a little," admitted Huffman. "Our learning curve has been pretty steep, and it's been a slower transition than we thought, but we're excited heading back to Florida."

Huffman and Team Johnsonville Racing take to the high banks of the USA International Speedway this weekend, as the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series makes it's second visit of the season to the Lakeland, Florida track. Racing starts at 8:00 p.m. and fans can catch all the action live on USARN radio, as well as on Speedvision network's television broadcasts scheduled for June 9 and June 12.
