SS Racing's Scottish-superstar John Dalziel is set to make his American Speed Association debut with this weekend in Cedar Rapids (IA). Dalziel will make his first ASA with help from K&N Performance Filters, who have signed on to sponsor the #04 Chevrolet this weekend in the Iowa 300.

"It's an honor to have the opportunity to represent K&N Performance Filters, who has such a strong presence in motorsports field worldwide," said Dalziel. "Our team has worked hard over the past few months and is ready for this thrilling task of debuting in ASA. It's thrilling to be a part of what I think is the top team in the ASA series and to receive mentorship from a championship driver like Butch Miller."

In addition to Miller, who drives the #52 Timber Wolf car for SS Racing and is also leading the ASA point standings after five races, Dalziel has also been mentored very closely by legendary NASCAR driver and former ASA broadcast announcer Buddy Baker.

"John is a very talented driver who has the capability to achieve a great deal in motorsports at the highest levels," said Baker, who also served as mentor for Winston Cup star Ryan Newman. "John will be an excellent representative of K&N Performance Filters."
