SUSSEX, Wis. - Ricky Johnson has finished tenth and 11th in the last two races in the ASA ACDelco Series. Johnson and the Nationwide Auction Systems/WorldBestBuy.com team are gaining their momentum heading into the Iowa 250 this weekend.
"Our momentum is building after the last couple races," Johnson said, "and I hope to continue that and be a serious challenger this weekend. It helps that I now have three races under my belt at this track and the experience will definitely benefit us."
With a best finish of eighth at the half-mile facility, Johnson definitely plans to improve upon history. "The Nationwide Auction Systems team just keeps plugging away each week and we'll get that win," Johnson said. "Hopefully, we can capture it this weekend and have the momentum in full swing for the next race at Madison."
Johnson finished tenth at Jennerstown last Sunday after battling a tight condition for most of the race. Johnson remains tenth in the series points standings, 120 points from the top-5.
