NEW FLORENCE, Mo. -- (Sept. 11, 2004) Fifteen-year-old Jon Paul Reando captured the 2004 Racing Association of Mini Stocks (RAMS) Points Series Championship Saturday night at the Montgomery County Speedway. His second place finish in the feature was good enough to secure the title, just eight points ahead of 2003 champion Rick Ruch. Dave "The Wolf" Wofford of Farmington was the feature winner at Montgomery County Saturday night, but it only allowed him to finish in third place overall, 10 points ahead of the fourth place finisher Shannon Burch of Farmington.

Steve LeGarce of Troy was the highest placing rookie driver this season with 536 points, good enough for fifth place.
