1. Hawkeye Downs (IA) Speedway is on the ASALMS Schedule twice during the Fifth Anniversary 2007 Season with a Challenge and a Northern Division event.

Lexington, Michigan (02/05/2007): The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts has established and is beginning to establish traditions within the series with regards to high profile and historic facilities that host the ASALMS within all three divisions. As the ASALMS heads into the Fifth Anniversary 2007 season, one track is a staple on the schedule and a favorite amongst the entire ASALMS as the series will visit twice in 2007;

For the Fifth Anniversary 2007 Season, the ASALMS will invade the Hawkeye Downs (IA) Speedway on two occasions with one event each for the ASALMS Challenge and Northern Divisions! The first of two very anticipated ASALMS events in Cedar Rapids, Iowa will be on Friday and Saturday May 11-12, 2007 for the running of the 1st annual Crate Engine Classic 200; The fourth event of the 2007 season for the crown jewel of the ASALMS, the Challenge Division.

A tradition will also resume over the Labor Day Weekend as the Cars and Stars of the ASALMS Northern Division will take to the 0.500 Mile Semi-Banked Paved Oval on Saturday September 1, 2007 for the running of the Labor Day 100, the eighth race on the 2007 Schedule for the ASALMS Northern Division and the last event overall for the 2007 season for the Hawkeye Downs Speedway. Labor Day Weekend and the ASALMS is one of those established traditions that is expected to continue for many years to come.

"When I think of Labor Day Weekend, I automatically think about one of my favorite tracks that we visit and that means a trip to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the Hawkeye Downs Speedway." ASALMS Co-Founder/President, Ron Varney explained. "I don't know what it is about that place, but man I just love going there with the series and to be able to go twice for our Fifth Anniversary season just means that much more to me." He added.

"Hawkeye Downs is pleased to have the ASALMS Northern Division back on our schedule again in 2007.: Added Paul Draper of the Hawkeye Downs Race Committee. "The Labor Day weekend race is certainly one of the highlights of our schedule and has proven to be consistently popular with the fans and the racers at Hawkeye Downs." Draper added.

2. South Georgia (GA) Motorsports Park is back on the ASA Late Model Series Southern Division schedule with the third race of the 2007 season!

Lexington, Michigan (02/16/2007): As the 2007 season for the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts draws closer, the ASALMS Southern Division is preparing for a much anticipated season as the second year series has found a home down South. Based on the 2007 schedule, the drivers and teams of the ASALMS South will visit some immaculate facilities that rival their counterparts in the ASALMS Northern Division.

The cars and stars of the ASALMS Southern Division will visit the great state of Georgia on three occasions with the middle appearance slated for Saturday June 2, 2007 at the beautiful South Georgia (GA) Motorsports Park, located 30 minuted North of the Florida/Georgia border in Cecil, Georgia for the running of the South Georgia 125. The third race of the 2007 season for the ASALMS Southern Division.

"South Georgia Motorsports Park is just an awesome facility and if last years race was any indication, the great fans in Southern Georgia and Northern Florida are in for a real treat." Remarked ASALMS Co-Founder/President, Ron Varney. "Our ASALMS Southern Division is going to be a great series to watch in 2007 in addition to the Challenge and Northern Divisions, I'm really looking forward to this season, is it March yet?" Asked Varney.

"This is our second time hosting the ASALMS Southern Division we are very excited about having them back at our track." Stated Richard Hall, Director of Operations for the SGMP. "The 2006 race showed some great racing from up and coming young talent that many people will see on TV in the next few years and we're looking forward to the return appearance by the ASALMS Southern Division, it should be another great show!" Hall added.

In the ASALMS Southern Divisions' lone appearance at SGMP back on July 3, 2006, the special the Fourth of July Weekend saw the ASALMS Southern Division invade for an extended distance 125-lap Feature on Monday of the holiday weekend. In the Firecracker 125, Josh Hamner and Bo Miller started on the front row of the 125-lap feature and throughout the extended laps feature on a hot Southern Georgia evening, the two stout freshman battled throughout the event as Hamner paced the field for the first 22 laps.

3. All-Star Performance back in the fold with the crown jewel of the ASALMS; The Challenge Division for the Fifth Anniversary 2007 Season.

Lexington, Michigan (02/05/2007): The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts is very proud to announce that another Michigan based company is back on board and supporting the series "Where Champions Race" and the premiere traveling series in the country for the Fifth Anniversary 2007 season.

All-Star Performance; A division within Lane Automotive in Watervliet, Michigan along-with Motor State Distributing, Lane Collectibles, and Exact Detail Replicas, is on board once again for the 2007 season with the Lexington, Michigan based ASALMS. All-Star Performance will once again be a part of the Participating Manufacturers Program (PMP) within the crown jewel of the three traveling series' within the ASALMS, the Challenge Division.

In addition, All-Star Performance/Lane Automotive will also be one of the exclusive dealers of the ASALMS K-N Air Filters that will be the spec air filter for the ASALMS for the Fifth Anniversary 2007 season in all three division. Other dealers of the ASALMS K-N Filter are Howe Racing Enterprises and Port City Racing, all three companies are based in the ASALMS home state of Michigan.

The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts is moving full speed ahead towards the Fifth Anniversary 2007 season in the series "Where Champions Race". Each respective schedule within the ASALMS is complete and new and returning sponsors alike are jumping on board in anticipation of the most talked about traveling series' in the country.
