The team cars of Northampton High School Senior Matt Hirshman and veteran driver John Markovic brought the modified field around for the green. Jumping out to an early lead was "the concrete kid" Hirshman till caution flew on lap 2 for an accident involving fellow Northampton Pa driver Eric Beers. On the restart Markovic quickly moved into the lead over Brian Defebo and Sean Kehley. With Markovic in the lead it was a battle for second spot between Defebo and Kehley with Kehley making the pass for second successful on lap 6. Caution flew on lap 10 as second place runner Kehley spun coming off of turn 4. When Green flag racing resumed it was Markovic in the lead followed by Ike Iddings and Defebo till caution flew again on lap 16 for the spinning car of Hirshman collecting current points leader Russ Frantz and Chuck Schartzer; Schartzer would retire from the race. On the restart Markovic maintained the lead followed closely by Defebo and Iddings till caution flew once again for the spinning car of Kehley. As green flag racing resumed it was Markovic followed by Iddings and Defebo, Frantz who was involved in an early race accident began to work his way back to the front of the field. John Markovic went on to take the victory over Defebo, Iddings, Frantz, and Tim Santee rounding out the top 5. Santee, Frantz, and Iddings won the heat races.

Mike Radocha Sr. brought the Late Model field around to take the green. Radocha Sr. jumped out to an early lead followed by Yanders and Mike Radocha Jr., Yanders made a bold move coming off of turn 2 on lap 3 to take the lead over Radocha Sr. As racing continued Barry " the kid" Gommer began working his way threw traffic and was battling Yanders for the lead on lap 5. Caution flew on lap 7 for the cars of Jeff Searfoss and Dwayne Mory making hard contact entering turn one, both would retire from the race. On the restart Gommer would be sent to the rear of the field after being warned 3 times for shifting on the restart. When racing resumed Yanders continued to lead as the hard charging Larry Fisher began to work his way threw traffic and was challenging Yanders for the lead by lap 10. Yanders continued to lead the next 10 circuits around the speedway until caution flew once again for Radocha Jr. spinning entering turn 1 on lap 21. Yanders continued to battle door to door with Fisher for the last for laps as Yanders went on to score his second win of the season followed by Fisher, Gommer, Barry Callavini, and Radocha Sr. rounding out the top 5. Fisher and Alan Moyer won the heat races. Brian Davis of Berwick Pa. brought the Pro Stock feature to the drop of the green. Davis moved quickly into the lead followed by Frank Greco and Albert Kerns. As Davis began to open up an impressive lead the battle was deeper in the field between the cars of Jack Cassidy and Alan Decker battling for 5th position. Davis continuing to open the lead by 3 quarters of a track showed he was well on his way to victory lane. Kerns put on a late race challenge for second position with Greco but came up short at the finish as Davis went on to score his second win of the season followed by Greco, Kerns, Decker, and Mike Higgins rounding out the top 5. Brian Davis won the heat race.

Chris Burge starting from the pole position moved quickly out in front of the Street Stock division. Steve Koleck moved into second and began to challenge Burge for the lead until caution flew on lap 10 for the cars of Mike Kowalczyk and Jennifer Kutz making hard contact on the start finish line, Kutz who exited the car under her own power was carried to the ambulance due to severe leg pain. In an early Sunday morning telephone call with Jennifer, she said she was feeling sore but her ankle was only sprained and would be in an air cast for the next few days. Jennifer said she is looking forward to returning to the speedway maybe even by this Saturday night. On the restart the cars of Bruce Long and Burge would make hard contact exiting turn 2 while battling for the lead, Longs spun in a 360 and came to rest in the middle of the back stretch and had to be double hooked from the speedway. When green flag racing resumed Rich Spaide found himself in the front of the field followed by Ron Babula and Koleck. With Long retired from the race it was an unabated run to the finish line as Spaide went on to take the victory followed by Babula, Koleck, Steve Meckes, and Donny Hartzell rounding out the top 5. Burge and Long won their heat races.

The Factory Stocks got off to a bad start as the cars of Paul Monkoski and Mark Corbisiero made contact in the front stretch on the first lap sending Monkoski spinning to the infield bringing out the caution. When racing resumed it was Jim Buzinski in the lead over the cars of Sean Burd and Ron Hefflefinger. Steve Distler who started in the 9th position Began working his way through traffic and soon was battling Burd and Buzinski for the lead. Buzinski had his hands full holding off the challenges of Burd and Distler as Buzinski went on to score his second victory of the season followed by Burd, Distler, Paul Frantz, and Wilson Reakes rounded out the top 5. Distler and Buzinski won their heat races.
