Oswego, NY - A few schedule changes will occur for this Saturday's July 14 race event at Oswego Speedway due to the added limited supermodified feature. In addition, it was announced this morning that supermodified veteran Joe Gosek will be on hand to drive the Brian Sweeney 3.

The following schedule will be in effect for Saturday's racing:
Box Office Opens (Pit Passes will be available): 12:00 pm
Pit Gates Open (Must have Pit Pass to enter): 12:30 pm
SPECIAL Super Stock ONLY Warm-Ups: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Pit Ticket Booth Opens: 2:00 pm
Regular Warm-Ups: 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Grandstand Gates Open: 3:00 pm
Ticket Booths Open: 4:00 pm

Limited Feature from July 7: 5:15 pm, followed by the regular slate of events for the Clearview Home and Leisure/Wet Paint Company night. The night will be topped off by the Thrill Masters Thrill Show, making its first appearance at Oswego with daredevil drivers performing death-defying stunts for the fans.

Oswego veteran Joe Gosek, who competes mainly on the ISMA circuit, driving for Paul Dunigan, sold his famed supermodified 00 earlier this spring. With ISMA off until Sandusky Hy-Miler July 27-28, Joe was approached by Brian Sweeney this week to drive his number 3 super in competition at Oswego. Brian, who is a second-year super pilot, had a new car built over the winter by Steve Gioia. He's been struggling with the handling and set up of his car since opening day, and he hopes that the input Gosek can give him will help get things in order. Joe, who has always built and maintained his own cars in the past, is one of the finest in translating problems into solutions. Look for Howie Page, Kenny Bell, and other ISMA competitors to be on hand, as well, adding to the already strong Oswego supermodified field.

This Saturday's card, with the added limited feature and Thrill Show, is at regular admission prices, which surely makes it one of the best entertainment values of the summer!
