OSWEGO, NY - Two of the northeast's top drivers with different racing backgrounds have been added to the impressive list of pre entries for this Sunday' s Empire State Modified Championship at Oswego. Super Modified driver Mike Ordway and 1996 Sunoco Race of Champions winner Jan Leaty have now filed entries for the 75 lapper this Sunday. Race time is 1:00p.m.

Ordway, will make the tow from Fremont, New Hampshire to compete in his first Sunoco Race of Champions Modified Tour event. He is coming off a win this past Saturday in the prestigious Jim Shampine Memorial Super Modified event at Oswego.

Leaty, is one of the top Modified chauffeurs in the northeast. He was victorious in the 1996 Sunoco Race of Champions and took runner-up honors to his teammate Tony Hirschman the following year in that same event. Leaty will be aboard the Dan Schum entry this Sunday.

The Empire State Modified Championship 75 is turning into an all-star race as drivers with racing experience in Busch Grand National, Super Modified, Late Model, Featherlite Modified and Sunoco Race of Champions Modified Tour events coming together. Other top names include: George Kent, Ted Christopher, Sege Fidanza, J.R. Kent, T.J. Potrzebowski, Zane Zeiner and many, many more.
