(Bangor, Maine) – The North East Pro Stock Association will be kicking off the 2001 Season Saturday June 16th at Unity Raceway. The NEPSA drivers will have to battle the Unity Raceway standouts that have the home track advantage. The race is expected to action packed with tight side by side racing.

Unity Raceway has already seen great Pro Stock action in this years Unity Raceway 101 lap Pro Stock season opener. The fans were treated to a spectacular race filled with great competition and action. The race was won by NEPSA regular Chuck Lachance with Steve Nelson taking second place and Poncho Darveau finishing third.

NEPSA features many of the top Pro Stock drivers from throughout New England. Come see some of the biggest guns in New England including three time Oxford 250 Champion, Ralph Nason, defending N.E.P.S.A. Champion, Ben Rowe and Unity's Prostock 101 Champion, Chuck Lachance compete for the NEPSA 150 title.

The gates will open at 9:00am. Time Trials will start at 5:30pm to determine starting order of the heats. Heat races will determine who actually makes the field and will also determine where the drivers will start in the NEPSA ProStock 150.
