SUSSEX, Wisc. - Ricky Johnson and the No. 22 Nationwide Auction Systems/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet Monte Carlo have a bit of an edge heading into the ASA ACDelco Series' "Actionline 300" at Montgomery (Ala.) Motor Speedway this weekend. The series heads to Montgomery Motor Speedway for the first time in their 33-year existence. While most drivers haven't seen the facility, Ricky Johnson has "been there and done that."

Johnson, along with Herzog Motorsports teammate Mark Dismore, recently tested at the half-mile speedway. "After testing at Montgomery, I found it is very challenging to get a hold of," Johnson said. "It has an old racing surface, but I'm confident Mark and I will have good runs."

"This is the first time ASA has been to Montgomery Motor Speedway, as well as most of the other drivers," Johnson explains. "It makes a more level playing field for us and I think we have a good shot of picking up our first win. Mark's also got a good shot of getting his first podium finish."

Johnson is coming off his second top-five this season, with a fifth place finish at Hickory Motor Speedway. His other top-five came in the season opener at USA International Speedway. He has already captured one pole this season, setting the track record at Lanier National Speedway.

TNN Sports will bring live coverage of ASA's fourth race on the schedule from the Montgomery Motor Speedway. The "Actionline 300" is set to begin at 1:30 p.m. E.S.T.
