DAYTONA BEACH, FL (December 1, 2006) -- The ASA Midwest Tour is pleased to announce Carl Schultz from Five Star Race Car Bodies as the latest addition to the Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board has been developed to bring together some of the most renowned racing industry experts to provide insight to Tour management. Vice President Steve Einhaus explained, "We feel this will help us grow and keep us on track by fielding suggestions from all involved. It's our intent to have the best series available to support short track racers and Tour President Tim Olson and I feel that this group will help us realize that goal."

Schultz is an accomplished businessman as the co-founder of Five Star Race Car Bodies and an asset to the group. "I am honored and excited to serve on the ASA Midwest Tour Advisory Board. It is an opportunity that I take very seriously and I am anxious to get started. It is my hope that the nearly 30 years of experience I have in the racing industry can contribute to the success of this series. There are great tracks and great race teams in the Midwest. I think that the fans are in for some great racing," Schultz shared.
