JENNERSTOWN, Pa. -Mark Dismore finished 23rd in the ASA ACDelco Series race at Jennerstown Speedway on Sunday afternoon. Rain forced a delay in the start of the Pennsylvania 300, which made for a long day for the Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com team. Dismore qualified for the race in the 13th starting position.

On lap 77, Dismore spun off turn two while battling for position. He quickly got the No. 44 Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the right direction, but not before the No. 16 of Russ Tuttle hit him. The damage put the car behind the wall for 18 laps. Dismore continued in the race, completing 279 of the 300 laps.

"We started off good and were moving up steadily," Dismore explains. "I was trying to get underneath the No. 33 off of turn two. There are two patches of asphalt and I split them. The car didn't like it and I spun out. I thought maybe I could get it back and not lose a lot of positions, but the 16 car just ran right into me."

"The guys turned it around quickly and got me back out on the track," Dismore said. "I feel bad for the team. I was trying too hard too soon and the car just got away from me."

Dismore and the Monster.com team head to Hawkeye Downs Speedway this weekend. "Cedar Rapids was a good track for us when we ran earlier in the year. Unfortunately, we blew a tire early in the race, but we'll be a contender this time."

Stan Herzog, co-owner of the No. 44 Herzog Motorsports entry, commented on Dismore's race. "Mark was running well and doing a great job until that little spin. Those guys behind him, unfortunately, didn't see it early enough and couldn't avoid hitting him. This team is poised to make a good run next week at Hawkeye Downs."
