LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Mark E. Dismore thought his luck had finally turned around after finishing fifth in Nashville and posting his best qualifying effort of the year for the ACDelco Service Specialist 300 at Louisville Motor Speedway. Dismore ran strong all night long running as high as second, but got involved in a last lap skirmish that resulted in an 11th place finish for the Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Dismore finished 13th. Due to two disqualifications he moved up to an 11th place finish.

Dismore ran in the top-ten for most of the evening and was looking at picking up his second top-ten in a row when a hit from behind sent him spinning. Dismore crossed the finish line 13th after running seventh on the white flag lap. "I saw Ricky (Johnson, teammate) flying through the dirt," Dismore explains. "I went low hoping to avoid it all then got hit from behind and spun. I kept my foot on the gas to try to cross the finish line."

"Everyone did a great job on this Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com team,"
Dismore continues. "We did everything we could. We stuck with the leaders
all night and were running really strong. We just came up short."

Stan Herzog, co-owner of Herzog Motorsports, was pleased with Dismore's run, although disappointed with the result. "Mark ran a great race and looked to be on his way to another top-ten finish," Herzog said. "It was a wild last lap. I hated to see Mark get turned around after running so well, but we'll regain our composure and get them at Cedar Rapids."

Dismore posted his best qualifying effort of the year by qualifying the No. 44 Herzog Motorsports entry in 11th place.

"I'm getting better on these qualifying deals," Dismore said. "For never being here before, I learned pretty quickly how to get around the track. Howie (Lettow, crew chief) and the guys set up a great car for me so I know we should be fast wherever we go."

The WorldBestBuy.com 250 is the next event on the ASA Series schedule. The 250-lap event at Hawkeye Downs Speedway is set to begin at 3 P.M. E.S.T. with TNN Sports broadcasting the race live.
