Wally Carlson to Run a Limited Schedule with The ASA Late Model Series in 2005

Wally knew he loved all motor sports since he was just a year old, but 2004 was his first year on the asphalt with the ASA Late Model Series. When he was four years old, his father began racing 4 wheel drive off road Jeeps, and did this until Wally was nine. When Wally turned 17, his parents got him started in Dune Buggy racing with the Championship Off Road Series. He stayed for three seasons, before making the jump to asphalt, and joining up with the ASA Late Model Series tour.

The highest point of his short career with the ASA Late Model Series has been qualifying 17th at the legendary Indianapolis Raceway Park. In the field were over 40 cars and drivers, and Wally found himself lucky to make it, and compete on the historic speedway.

In 2005 he plans on running a limited schedule with the ASA Late Model Series, gaining precious time in the drivers' seat. He may also race in some of the local big money shows in a template bodied Super Late Model. Wally would like to thank his mother and father for helping him to get his start in auto racing and get him to this point in his career. He would also like to thank his crew, Jason, Rob, and his brother for helping out when they can. Wally would like to thank their new sponsor, Champion Chevrolet in Howell who also painted the car.
